Cancellation policy
Bookings cancelled at least 35 days before the start of the stay can be refunded in full (100%, after deduction of fees).
A cancellation request made less than 35 days before the check-in date will not be eligible for any refund.
Insurance
The guest is liable for any damage they cause. Guests are advised to check that their home insurance policy includes holiday rental cover (often called “holiday home” or “personal belongings away from home” cover) or equivalent, or otherwise to take out such insurance for the duration of their stay.
Termination clause
If the guest fails to meet their obligations, and five days after a formal notice to comply has been sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, the agreement will be terminated automatically in favour of the owner.
Failure to pay the rent or the security deposit by the first day of the rental, upon the guest’s arrival, is a serious breach leading to automatic termination of the agreement in favour of the owner.
It is expressly agreed that, in the case of payment by cheque, the rent and charges will only be considered paid once the cheque has been cashed. The owner may apply the termination clause if the cheque bounces.
Address for service
For the performance of this agreement, the owner and the guest elect domicile at their respective addresses.
However, in the event of a dispute, the court for the owner’s place of residence shall have sole jurisdiction.
This agreement and its consequences are governed by French law.
